The Independence County Senior Citizens Program will be sponsoring its annual BBQ fundraiser on Thursday, June 8.

Fox Creek BBQ will prepare barbecue and beans. The meal includes a barbecue sandwich, baked beans, cole slaw, a cookie, and a drink for only $8 each.

Dine-in will be available at the Batesville Senior Center, 1590 E. College St. Drive-thru will also be available from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Senior Citizens will deliver lunch meals to businesses with a pre-order of 10 or more meals.

This is a great opportunity to treat your staff to a “thank you” all while helping to provide necessary services for Senior Citizens of Independence County, the program noted in a media release.
