John 3:16 Ministries has announced a Community Fest to be held on Oct. 14 at the ministries’ location between Batesville and Charlotte.
The Isaacs, a bluegrass gospel band, and local talent Pam Setser headline the event.
John 3:16 Ministries’ spokesman Brent Waugh told White River Now’s Gary Bridgman the gates will open at 9 a.m. and a live auction starts at 10 a.m.
Waugh said many items have been donated to the ministries to be auctioned. Among those items is a 1968 Mustang Corvette.
Waugh said a silent auction is planned as well. He noted a riding lawn mower is one of the items to be given away.
Waugh said there will be a carnival for the young and young at heart.
