Frank William Barger,45, was born June 12, 1978, in Newport, Arkansas. He was the son of David Griffin and Kathy Griffin.
Frank attended Newport High School. He received his GED and after that, he started working at Jones Home Furnishings for many years.
Frank had a big heart. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed working and fixing things. He enjoyed listening to all kinds of music and installing car audio. He also loved riding motorcycles and four-wheelers. Frank enjoyed going fishing with friends and he absolutely loved to cook. His all-time favorite thing to do was help people any way he could. He was a very caring person.
Frank was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pete, and Dorothy Wilson; his father, David Griffin; three uncles, Joe Simons, Tommy Wilson, and Danny Wilson; one aunt, Bonnie Simons.
He departed this life on March 29, 2024, at Unity Health Harris Medical Center in Newport, Arkansas. His memory will be cherished by his wife, Brandy Barger of Newport; four children, Nickoles (Jadyn) Murphy, Ella Barger, Brylan Barger, and Karlee Barger all of Newport; three brothers, Stephen Barger of Newport, Anthony Patterson of Truman, and David Griffin of Newport; four sisters, Amy Benford of Newport, Pamela Simons of Tuckerman, Kimberly Diaz of Newport, and Amber Young of Maple Springs; one grandchild, Nickoles Murphy Jr., of Newport; two aunts, Faye Wilson and Janice Patterson; one uncle, Jimmy Wilson; and his mother, Kathy Griffin of Newport. His memory will be cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
