
Carrie Lois Mohlke of Jamestown, AR, died early Friday morning, April 17, 2026, at the age of 96. Lois was born on May 19, 1929, in Batesville, AR, to the late Chris Mohlke and Minnie (Davis) Mohlke. She was of Christian faith and worshiped the Lord as a member of the Methodist Church.
Lois loved her family dearly. She got the most enjoyment out of time spent with family and friends, especially her great-great niece Dacey Cate Roach. The time that Lois and Dacey spent together daily brought them both great joy and fond memories that will always be cherished. In her spare time, Lois also enjoyed gardening and watching westerns.
Lois is preceded in death by both of her parents; her 4 brothers, Chris Mohlke, Homer Mohlke, Elmer Mohlke, and Clyde Mohlke; and her 3 sisters, Elzie Mohlke, Donie Farris, and Mae Posey. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Gene Mohlke; her niece, Kim Roach (James); her great-nephew, Braxton Roach (Patricia), and their daughter, her beloved Dacey Cate Roach; and several other extended family members and friends.
Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. There will be a graveside service, officiated by Bro. Chris Garrett, at Jamestown Cemetery in Jamestown, AR (just off Jamestown Loop) on Monday, April 20, 2026, beginning at 2 PM. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Braxton Roach, James Roach, Carol Mohlke, Jackie Mohlke, Eric Mohlke, and Gregory Mohlke. The family would like to recognize the following people as honorary pallbearers: Dewayne Blankenship and Gary Mohlke.
