First Community Bank has promoted Chris Milum to senior vice president of commercial lending and non-interest income.

In the expanded role, Milum will provide strategic direction for the bank’s non-interest income initiatives, including insurance, treasury management, and secondary mortgage lending. He will also continue to support commercial and real estate lending.

“I’m honored for the opportunity to serve in this role and to continue working alongside such a talented team,” Milum said.

Milum joined the banking industry in 2015. He previously received the Arkansas Bankers Association’s Bill Holmes Leadership Award, which recognizes emerging leaders in the industry.

In addition to his banking career, Milum serves in the Arkansas Army National Guard. In 2023, he completed a 12-month deployment to the Middle East in support of Operation Spartan Shield with the 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. His military honors include the General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award and the Theodore Roosevelt Leadership Award.

“Chris has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of our organization,” said Boris Dover, president and chief operating officer of First Community Bank. “His ability to connect our lending and non-interest income strategies will be instrumental as we continue to grow.”

Milum and his wife, Kaylea, live in Batesville with their three children.
