A Mountain Home woman was killed Wednesday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash in northern Baxter County, and the man state police say caused the collision is facing seven charges, including negligent homicide.

Arkansas State Police identified the victim as Adrianna Alsup, 19, of Mountain Home. The driver charged in the crash, Ian Michael Tice, 45, also of Mountain Home, was taken into custody after the wreck. The third driver, Michael Mooney of Mountain Home, was not injured.

According to an ASP fatal crash report, Tice’s vehicle crossed the centerline on Arkansas Highway 201 North near Blue Wing Road around 12:15 p.m. His vehicle struck Alsup’s car, causing it to rotate in the roadway before being hit by Mooney’s vehicle and leaving the road.

The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office jail log shows Tice is charged with felony negligent homicide, along with misdemeanors including driving while intoxicated, driving left of center, driving on a suspended license, open alcohol container, obstructing governmental operations, and expired tags. He is being held on a $50,000 bond.

KTLO reports Tice has two prior felony arrests in Baxter County dating to 2016. He received probation in a case involving drug paraphernalia. Later that year, he was arrested on charges including residential burglary, aggravated assault, and drug offenses after deputies said he attacked a woman and fought with a man who intervened. He was again sentenced to probation.
