Obituary: Patricia Maud Chrestman (Morrison)

Patricia Maud (Morrison) Chrestman, born September 8, 1940, passed away on February 5, 2026.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents: Richard and Eula Morrison and her sister, Elizabeth Ann Morrison.

She is survived by her brother, Walter Morrison and his wife Shirley of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, her children Donald ‶Lee″ Chrestman Jr. and his spouse, Cynthia Chrestman, and her daughter, Rachel Chrestman and her cherished grandchildren: Timothy Lee and wife, Sydney Chrestman and Cassidy Chrestman Powers.

Patricia was unwavering in her faith and devoted her life to raising her children grounded in Jesus Christ. From a young age, she carried a determined ‶can-do″ spirit and never allowed anyone or anything to stand in her way, especially when it came to her children. Her strength, perseverance, and love defined who she was.

During her school years, Patricia played basketball and was a member of the annual staff. She attended one year of college. She worked many years as a bank teller and later as a receptionist at Verser’s Clinic. Patricia eventually moved to the Washington, DC, metropolitan area, where she worked for the American Association of University Women.

After retiring, Patricia returned to Arkansas, where she took care of her Mom. She enjoyed singing, playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles, and baking cakes for the Harrisburg Rotary Club. Also enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach, where she found peace. Patricia will be remembered for her faith, determination, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her legacy of love, strength, and faith will live through her children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her.

A Life Celebration will be held at Hillside United Pentecostal Church, 600 Hill Road, Harrisburg, Arkansas 72432, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 3:00 P. M. The family has chosen Cremation as the final disposition, which was Patricia ‘s wish. Arrangements are by Jackson’s Funeral Home.
