Obituary: Trenton James Morgan

Trenton James Morgan, 31, of Poughkeepsie, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, in Poughkeepsie, Arkansas. He was born May 24, 1994, to Marty and Glynette (Perkey) Morgan. He worked for almost 11 years for the ADA Forestry Division and was a member of the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church. Trenton enjoyed turkey hunting, deer hunting, fishing and barbequing. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved spending time with his children. He loved them unconditionally; they adored and loved him as well.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glen and Zora Lee Perkey, and Newt and Alamola Morgan.

He is survived by his parents; his three children, Nora Lee, Ellie and Jack Morgan all of Lynn, Arkansas; his brother, Taggert Morgan and sister in law, Jamie Morgan of Cave City, Arkansas; one nephew, Kayce Morgan of Cave City, Arkansas and one nephew on the way, Kline Morgan; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Boyce Johnson, Bro. Phillip Lewallen and Bro. Dennis Gay officiating.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the church.

Private burial will be in the Perkey Cemetery with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Homes.

Honorary pallbearers are Seth Foreman, Lane Gay, Layne Davis, Jacob Martin, Tyler Asberry, Cody Parsley, Tyler Parsley, Clayton Pounds, Corey Kunkel, Zack Fleetwood, Brayden Fleetwood, Cody Mize, Jaret Patterson, the 2008-2012 Cave City Caveman Football Team and the ADA Forestry Division.
