Johnny Lee Chitwood, Sr., 58, of Pleasant Plains, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026.
He was born February 10, 1968, in Batesville, AR to Paul Ray Chitwood and Mildred Tate Middleton.
Johnny loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved his chickens, enjoyed watching wrestling, and working on cars.
Survivors include his two sons, Johnny (Tesa) Chitwood of Newport and Adain Chitwood of Pleasant Plains; one daughter, Scarlett Chitwood of Heber Springs; his mother, Mildred Middleton of Batesville; four brothers, Jerry (Elizabeth) Chitwood of Indiana, Kelly (Robin) Chitwood of Indiana, Ricky Middleton of Southside, Troy (Nikkie) Middleton of Southside; one sister, Luenell (Jerry) Lawson of Pleasant Plains; and four grandchildren, Lexus, Lillie, Alysia and Brayden.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Richard Middleton; two brothers, Gary Chitwood and Donnie Chitwood; and one sister, Sarah Middleton.
A memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with a visitation being held one hour prior.
