Obituary: Winnie Mae Hulen

Winnie Mae Hulen, 86, passed away on April 17, 2026, in Cave City, AR. She was born on June 11, 1939, in Bald Knob, AR, to the late Joe Roberts and Thelma (Morrow) Roberts. Winnie enjoyed fishing, hunting, and country music. She loved to cook and enjoyed eating good food as well as preparing it. Winnie also liked animals, especially her grand-dogs. She was the happiest when she had a basket in her hand at a thrift store. Above all else, Winnie loved her kids and grandkids. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great- grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all those blessed to know her.

Winnie is survived by her son, Leslie Wayne Hartsell (Regina) of Bradford; daughters, Sandra Henderson of Batesville, Carolyn Story (Rusty) of Mountain Home, Janice Guynes of Midwest City, OK, and Lisa Taylor (Stan) of Cave City; brother, Dick Heisler (Phyllis) of Cord; sisters, Annie Barnes of Kansas City and Agnes Jones (Noyal) of Grubbs; grandchildren, Jason Hartsell, Rachel Ethridge, Cristel McPherson, Brandy Hammons, Scootie Garner Prine, Marcus Duran, Ricky Cohen, Brandy DeLassus, Amy Lewis, Grady Foster, and Gracie Short; and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Deborah Mount; grandsons, Timothy Henderson and Adam Mount; granddaughter, Samantha Guynes; sisters, Alice Fay Wilson and Betty Miller; and brothers, Billy Roberts, Lewis Roberts, J.D. Roberts, and Roy Heisler.

There will be a graveside service, officiated by Brother Jeremiah Sanders, at Fairview Cemetery in Cave City, AR on Friday, April 24, 2026, beginning at 1 PM.
