Pauline Cox, 86, of Big Flat, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born March 8, 1940, in Okain, Arkansas, to Taylor and Addie (Barren) Woodard.

Pauline lived a full and hardworking life rooted in faith, family, and the outdoors. A devoted Christian, she attended the Assembly of God Church in Big Flat, where her faith was an important part of who she was. She found happiness in the simple things, spending quiet mornings in her garden, tending to her flowers, or enjoying time outdoors hunting and fishing.

She had a special love for animals and cared deeply for each one, whether it was her dogs and cat or her chickens and ducks. Her home was a place of warmth, care, and constant activity. More than anything, Pauline treasured her family. Time spent together, whether around the table, outdoors, or simply visiting, meant the most to her, and those moments created memories that will be cherished for generations.

Pauline was a skilled seamstress and took great pride in her work. She spent many years at Flint Rock Shirt Company in Marshall, Arkansas, and later worked at Blanchard Liquor in Big Flat until her retirement. She was known for her strong work ethic, her resilience, and her caring nature.

Pauline will be remembered for her strength, her kindness, her love of family, and the simple, meaningful life she lived. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched and the family she held so close to her heart.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Carolyn Cantrell (W.H.) and Patricia Garner (Pete); sister, Wanda; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of great pride and joy in her life.
