Obituary: Bradley Lee Owens

Bradley Lee Owens of Bono, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the age of 69. He was born on November 24, 1956, in Walnut Ridge, the son of Troy and Faye (Alls) Owens.

He attended Swifton High. He married his love, Miss Barbara Willbanks, on July 13, 1984. They were together for forty-four years. Mr. Owens worked for Willbanks Sand and Gravel and Brand Custom Hauling as a truck driver.

Mr. Owens loved being outside and working in the yard. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the grandsons. Nothing was more important to him than family. Mr. Owens attended the Walnut Street Baptist Church and was active in the Harlan-Gillis Sunday School Class.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Tony Owens and Donnie Owens; three sisters, Betty Lee, Jennie Sue Mercer, and Alice Owens.

Mr. Owens is survived by his wife of the home, Barbara (Willbanks) Owens; three daughters, Bridget Carol Owens, Andrea Michele Brown (John), and Whitney LeeAnn Smith (Haydon); four brothers, J. W. Owens (Connie), Troy Owens (Johnnie Ruth), Terry Owens, and Scotty Owens; one sister, Martha “Bobbie” Marchinkewicz; six grandchildren, Tristen Qualls (Makayla), of Brookland, Tanner Qualls (Lindsey), of Bono, Jarrett Brown of Gainsville, Talyn Qualls of Bono, Kyle Watts (Anna), of Brookland, and Chris Watts (Olivia) of Brookland; six great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and family.

The family will be conducting a memorial service at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 24th, at the Swifton Assembly of God Church. Brother Troy Owens, Jr. will be officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Brand, Josh Brand, Braden Brand, Ronnie Brand, Billy Cotton, Gary Jones, John Lytle, Luke Taylor, and Terry Woodard.
