Tammy Jo Henderson, 59, of Batesville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026.
She was born July 5, 1966, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to David Lunsford, Sr., and Kathy (Baker) Lunsford.
Tammy Jo was a woman of remarkable strength, independence, and unwavering devotion to her family. She possessed a strong work ethic and made countless sacrifices throughout her life to ensure her family was cared for and provided with everything they needed.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially spending weekends gathered with family and friends watching NASCAR races. She enjoyed playing cards and watching episodes of COPS. Above all else, Tammy Jo deeply loved her grandchildren, who brought immense happiness and pride to her life. She will be remembered for her resilience, caring heart, and the love she gave so freely to those around her.
Survivors include one son, Joey Henderson (Meagan) of Batesville; her father, David Lunsford, Sr. of Rison; three grandchildren, Haven Henderson, Charlie Spears, and Hunter Spears; and one niece, Minden Gay.
She is preceded in death by her mother, one sister, Susan Black, and one brother, David Lunsford, Jr.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
