Boston butts will be prepped and ready for pick-up on Thursday, Aug. 29, at Batesville’s First United Methodist Church to raise funds for The Call, a non-profit foster care organization.

Today’s the last day to order the butts which are $35. Orders can be made by calling Rodney Stroud at (870) 612-4904 or by texting the term BBQ2019 to this number: 41444. The pick-up schedule Thursday is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, which is located at 615 E. Main St. in Batesville.

The Call, a Christian non-profit in close collaboration with the Arkansas DHS Division of Children and Family Services, describes itself as “focused on recruiting, training, and equipping churches to support the needed Christian foster and adoptive families for the children in foster care in Arkansas.”

Stroud visited the White River Now family of radio stations to talk about the fundraiser and The Call. You can listen to his conversation with Big Daddy Randy Alan below.
