An Atlanta–based chain of outlets specializing in fruit smoothies has announced it is opening a location in Batesville.
According to the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce, Planet Smoothie, a leading provider of flavorful fruit smoothies, announced they will open a new location at the Midtown Plaza on Harrison Street in Batesville later this year.
Planet Smoothie, established in 1995 in Atlanta, Georgia, “…focuses on providing great-tasting smoothies in fun and unique settings,” the Chamber said in a release.
With over 100 stores in 20 states, Planet Smoothie has built a reputation for serving delicious, fresh-ingredient fruit smoothies with enthusiasm,” the Chamber said.
The new store in Batesville will be the brand’s first location in Arkansas and will have online ordering with curbside pick-up and delivery available.

Planet Smoothie is independently owned and operated and plans to open near the end of the year.
