With a recommendation from County Judge Robert Griffin and approval from the quorum court, the Independence County Library Board welcomed Stacy L. Gunderman (pictured) on June 13, 2022.
Gunderman, who will relinquish her leadership position on the Independence County Library Friends Foundation Board of Directors to accept this role, is the director of Administration at FutureFuel Chemical Company in Batesville. As director of administration, she oversees responsibility for human resources, training, communications and public affairs, and quality assurance.
Gunderman currently serves as the chair of the BSA Friends of Scouting Campaign, St. Mary’s Finance Committee, vice president of Chapter DJ PEO, and on the board of directors of the North Arkansas Dance Theatre.
Gunderman and her husband, Tony, have three adult children.
The Independence County Library is located at 267 E. Main St. in Batesville. Library hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
