The Adventure First Travel Club is accepting reservations for a comprehensive tour of Greece and its islands scheduled for May 4-19, 2023.

A preview presentation for the tour will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1, in the George Rider Community Room at 1325 Harrison St. in Batesville, the bank said in a release.

During the 16-day journey, “…bank customers and guests will visit the magnificent ruins of ancient Greece, and also bask in the brilliance of the Mediterranean Sea on the enchanting islands of Santorini and Mykonos,” the release said.

“A very thorough itinerary will allow our guests to explore many of the world’s most important historic sites and also experience the natural beauty and fascinating culture that makes Greece one of Europe’s prime places to visit,” said Dale Cole, chairman and CEO of First Community Bank. “The bank is so pleased to offer our loyal customers such meaningful and enjoyable once-in-a-lifetime tours.”

The tour will explore Greece’s most important ancient monuments, including the legendary Acropolis, the famed Temple of Zeus, and the archaeological site of Olympia. Local experts will conduct guided tours of Athens, Meteora, Delphi, and Olympia.

Travelers will discover the winding streets, vineyards, marketplaces and beaches of Mykonos and Santorini; visit a farm to see how olive oil and wine are produced; and learn how to cook traditional Mediterranean cuisine.

Space is strictly limited on the tour of Greece, so interested travelers are encouraged to make reservations as soon as possible.
