White River Health (WRH) Behavioral Health in Batesville has been recognized as the Inpatient Program of the Year by Signet Health in the first-ever Signet Excellence in Advocacy Awards.

“Behavioral health is an important part of service to any community,” said Gary Paxson, president and CEO of WRH.

“Our commitment to continuing to serve in this vital area remains steadfast. I am incredibly proud of our team, who works daily to serve our patients in specific need of this service. The work is critical, and the tasks are not easy. This much-deserved award demonstrates the dedication our team has in serving this unique patient population, and I commend them for their dedication and service.”

According to Signet Health, the Inpatient Program of the Year award recognizes a hospital program that demonstrates excellence throughout the year and achieves exceptional overall program performance. Additionally, they embody the qualities of clinical excellence, customer service, marketing excellence, and contract retention, all while living the mission to advocate for the vulnerable when they cannot advocate for themselves.

The award program includes six categories and is open to all organizations affiliated with Signet Health, with 13 programs participating in the nomination process.

The six nomination categories include Most Inspiring Act(s) of Advocacy, Customer Service, Marketing Excellence, Best Clinical Initiative, Inpatient Program of the Year, and Outpatient Program of the Year.

“All of our programs across the country do amazing things every day for the patients, families, and communities that we serve,” said Joy Figarsky, Signet Health president and COO. “This award program is a wonderful way to celebrate their efforts.”
