
David Mark Turner, 60, of Cave City, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Cave City. He was born on November 17, 1965, in Batesville, Arkansas to Calvin Maurice and Opha Rhea (Woods) Turner. He was a retired UPS driver and of the Baptist faith. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was stationed on the USS Enterprise. Mark enjoyed hunting arrowheads, duck hunting on the Strawberry River and woodcarving. He was also awarded the Memphis In May World Champion Pit Master. Mark was a creative person.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
He is survived by his mother, Rhea Turner of Cave City, Arkansas; his son, Zane Turner of Jonesboro, Arkansas; his daughter, Claire Turner of Batesville, Arkansas; his sister, Marsha Green (Randy) of Cave City, Arkansas; one niece, Shayna Faulkner (Cory) of Sidney, Arkansas; two nephews, Tristin Bower (Teila) of Paragould, Arkansas and Mason Green (Alexis) of Cave City, Arkansas; along with other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, May 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Ron Canard officiating.
A private burial will be held at a later date at the Cave City Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are the Cave City High School Class of 1984, Mark Childers and Jonathan Hunter.
