Jason William Collins, 52, of Batesville, departed this life on Friday, April 17, 2026, in Searcy. He was born on December 13, 1973, in Newport, Arkansas, to Jackson Benton Collins and Donna Jean Bumpous McIntosh.
Jason received his GED and was presented with a Governor’s Award from the Missouri Governor for his outstanding achievements while attending the classes. He loved music, nature, candy, and being able to enjoy the food at many restaurants.
He is survived by his daughters, Kristen Allyse (Rawley) Thomas, of Benton, and Caitlin Collins, of Searcy; his mother, Donna McIntosh, of Batesville; his sister, Amy Renee Collins (Michael Shawn Taylor), of Cave City; and his grandchildren, Eden Thomas and Theo Thomas.
Jason is preceded in death by his father, his grandparents, and other family members.
