
Jasper Alex Beede, 72, of Beedeville, passed from this life on April 26, 2026. Born in Searcy, Arkansas, on October 3, 1953, Jasper was the beloved son of Joseph Alexander and Bessie Faye (Knight) Beede. He dedicated his career to public service as a corrections officer for the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
Jasper was passionate about antiques, history, and genealogy, spending countless hours exploring the past and preserving cherished memories for future generations. He was known for his curiosity, gentle spirit, and unwavering commitment to his community and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Anna Mae Beede; and his daughters, Alexis Harris and Connie Ann Beede. Jasper is survived by his sons, Jasper Alexander Beede of Louisiana and Russel Wyant Beede of Beedeville; his brother, Wyant Beede (Carolyn) of Beedeville; his sister, Betty Carla Beede (Pete) of Texas; his grandchildren, Jasper A. Beede Jr. V, Atalanta Herrick, Sidney Ann Beede, Samuel Joseph Beede, and Kellan Marie Beede; two great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, David Harris; and a host of loving family and friends.
Jasper’s legacy will live on through the stories he shared, the lives he touched, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Matt Adams, Wyant Beede, Jasper Beede, and Russel Beede.
Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on April 29, 2026, at Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will be at Eight Mile Cemetery.
