Thad Edgar Beagle, born July 13, 1957, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026, surrounded by those who loved him dearly.

Thad was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Ann Beagle; his brothers-in-law, Ray Baker and Roland Morgan; and his sister-in-law, Karen Morgan.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 48 years, Lani Beagle. He leaves behind his daughters, Cassie Ganus (Landon) of Searcy, Arkansas, and Christy Beagle (fiancé Conrad Eberhard) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and a cherished son in heart, Jason Lindsey (Ashley) of Bryant, Arkansas, who was loved as his own, along with Nathan Lindsey.

He was a proud grandfather to Abigail, Samuel, and Anna Grace Ganus of Searcy, and Brantley and Brooklyn Bolin of Fayetteville, who brought him immense joy.

He is also survived by his sisters, Melody Cole (Dave) of Franklin, Tennessee, and Cindy McIntyre (Gary) of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; nieces and nephews Andrew Baker, Chelsea Baker, Simon Baker, Mary Browning, Craig Walters, Michael Morgan and Daniel Morgan; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to his devoted caretaker, Vicki Dale, who gave not only her care but also her love. She spent countless hours by his side, offering comfort, compassion, and a presence that meant more to our family than words can fully express.

Thad was a brilliant man who worked as a CPA and served as office manager at Batesville Surgery Clinic. He was known for his quick wit and sharp sense of humor, often bringing laughter to those around him with well-timed, sarcastic remarks.

He was strong in both presence and faith, yet carried a quiet tenderness. His family remembers sitting beside him in church, hearing his bass voice carry as songs about God’s grace and mercy moved him deeply, often bringing him to tears as he reflected on Christ’s sacrifice.

In his final days, that same faith brought him peace. The week before his passing, he was comforted by “It Is Well With My Soul” and “Blessed Assurance”—hymns he had learned early in life and later taught to his children. Even as his mind grew uncertain and much began to fade, those songs remained, bringing him peace and reassurance. He took his final breath as “Amazing Grace” was played, with his wife and daughters by his side—an experience that will forever be held close in their hearts.

Thad had a deep love for the Bible and a gift for teaching it in a way that was both practical and powerful. Many have said he was the best Bible class teacher they had ever heard. His teaching was rooted in a deep personal conviction of Christ’s love and the sacrifice made on the cross—something that never lost its meaning to him. Through that conviction and his genuine love for others, he led many men to Christ and helped strengthen the faith of countless others. He taught and preached in numerous churches and spent years teaching at John 3:16 Ministries, where Saturdays became affectionately known as “Thaderday.”

He will be remembered for his wisdom, his unwavering faith, and the love he poured into others.

“For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.” — 1 Corinthians 13:12
