The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville will hold its 2022 Career Fair on Tuesday, April 5, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., inside Independence Hall on the campus of UACCB.
Thirty-seven employers from the surrounding area are scheduled to participate. Employers from fields including healthcare, law enforcement, manufacturing, banking, childcare, education, and public service will be represented. Job seekers are encouraged to bring résumés and dress for an interview.
UACCB will also host, College: Ready. Set. Go!, tomorrow from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Independence Hall
The event is for anyone who is interested in attending college at any level, whether it be attending locally at UACCB or at other colleges and universities.
Parents and prospective students can get assistance with applying, paying for, and navigating college. A meal will be provided.
Services that will be available include financial aid, testing, admissions, advising, bookstore, and program areas. Program areas include adult education and ESL, business, general education and transfer, health professions, human services, skilled trades and agriculture, and science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
