Carol (Vinson) Sitzer Evans, 78, of Weiner, Arkansas, departed this life Friday, May 1, 2026, at Woodbriar Nursing Home in Harrisburg, Arkansas. She was born on June 30, 1947, in Weiner, Arkansas, the daughter of Charles and Lillie (Counts) Vinson, and they have preceded her in death. Carol was also preceded in death by one brother, Charles Edward Vinson, her husband, Eddie Evans, and one son-in-law, Patrick Warren.
She was a homemaker, a member of Weiner Christian Church, and worked several years in Early Childhood Development Daycare Programs. She truly enjoyed being a Mom and MeMa.
Carol is survived by: four sons, Tyler (Wendy) Sitzer, Tony (Judy) Sitzer, Chris Sitzer, and Charlie Sitzer, all of Weiner; two daughters: Tracy Sitzer also of Weiner and Stacy Warren of Englewood, Ohio; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren. Carol lovingly raised five of her twelve grandchildren: Shandi, Krysti, Cynthia, Caitlin, and Madison. Carol considered Janice Lynn of Bono, Arkansas, Virginia Dial of La Mesa, California, and Geneva Frigon of Fairfield, California as lifelong friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Weiner Christian Church from 6:00 to 8:00 P. M. Funeral Service will be on May 6, 2026, at the church at 10:00 A. M. with Bro. Ben Stover conducting the service. Family will serve as Active Pallbearers, and interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
